DeCord™ is a thin, flexible wire that allows the user to bring electricity to any area of a wall, ceiling, or floor. As it is only 8 mils thin, about the thickness of a business card, Flat Electrical Cord can go unnoticed under rug, carpet or tile. On the walls and ceilings, it can simply be painted or wallpapered over.
DeCord, in conjunction with DePlug, allows the installer to use existing electrical outlets in the room for electricity.

Category: DeCord is a 110/220 VAC electrical wire that comes in 14, 16, and 18 gauge equivalences.
Features: DeCord is 15- or 20-amp rated, 8 mils thin (about the thickness of a business card), highly flexible (for making turns), and has a paintable/wall-paperable surface.
Benefits: DeCord replaces cumbersome, unsightly, and unsafe extension cords with location specific outlets. DeCord provides a low-cost, safe alternative to an expensive rewiring job for getting electricity to wall and ceiling locations (fans, ceiling/wall/art lighting, sconces, etc.). DeCord permits plugs to be clustered where required for equipment needs. DeCord allows for safe, exact location for installation of A/C plugs for appropriate applications. |
